Murano Software Sponsored the Ninth Meeting of the Tashkent .NET Community

The Tashkent community of .NET developers in Uzbekistan is more than two years old now. During this time, the reports on ASP.NET Ajax and Linq, MVC, Windows Presentation Foundation, and Silverlight 2.0 were presented by the community leaders. As a .NET development pioneer, Murano Software has supported all of the community meetings, including the ninth one that took place on October 17. The ninth meeting was devoted to the topics that are really hot today: cloud computing, Microsoft’s Azure Services Platform and software delivered as a service (SaaS).

At the meeting, the first report pivoted on the Azure platform -- a platform for hosting Web applications, recently announced by Microsoft. The technology gives developers a virtual operating system (cloud OS), hosted by Microsoft.

Being pioneers in.NET software development, Murano Software specialists studied the main principles and advantages of the platform immediately after the release of the Community Technology Preview (CTP) platform. Since doing is the best way to learn things, Murano’s specialists developed a universal application called Multidraw, based on Windows Azure and Silverlight. Thanks to Multidraw, several people can simultaneously draw full-color images in a virtual workspace and see the changes made by others in real time. What’s great about the application is that its architecture is designed in such a way that it can easily be adapted to solve any problem that requires collaborative work by a large number of users in real time. For example, this may be collaboration on a spreadsheet online.

In the second report at the .NET community meeting, the particularities of architecture and providing software as a service were discussed. Software as a service (SaaS) is popular these days due to a number of advantages for users. These benefits include the relatively low cost of using such applications for users, its easiness to install and its ease of use. Outsourcing of software as a service development is becoming a hot topic today. Murano Software’s dedicated teams have been successful at the development of Web applications provided as a service for its clients. The applications range from complex enterprise management systems to industry-specific applications and social cooking networks. If you have an idea of a software solution and need a professional team to develop it, let us know, and we will help you to quickly and affordably deliver your custom application to market.
